The Art of Bengali Bridal Beauty
Every Bengali bride deserves a look that honours tradition while celebrating her individuality. Hand-drawn chandan, traditional alta, and a base that lasts from dawn to the last dance.
01
Traditional red alta, gold-toned eyes, bold red lip with hand-drawn chandan bindi. Designed to photograph beautifully on the betel leaf.
02
Fresh, luminous skin with warm gold shimmer. Waterproof base that survives turmeric, tears, and dancing. Light enough for daytime, glam enough for photos.
03
Soft smokey eyes with a dewy base. Pairs perfectly with both Banarasi and contemporary lehengas. Lasts through every ritual.
04
Full glam with sculpted cheekbones, dramatic lashes, and a bold lip. Camera-ready for the stage and professional photography.

The Artist
Born and raised in Bhowanipore, Kolkata. I grew up watching my mashi apply alta on brides in our neighbourhood — that's where my love for Bengali bridal artistry began.
Lakmé Academy trained, 500+ Bengali weddings, 9 years of making brides feel like the most beautiful version of themselves. My signature: hand-drawn chandan, never stickers.

Kind Words
"My makeup survived from 5 AM to 2 AM — through tears, sweat, and 47 relatives hugging me. The chandan bindi was hand-drawn so perfectly, my thakuma said it reminded her of her own wedding."
"I wanted modern, my mother-in-law wanted traditional. Moumita found the perfect balance — smokey eyes with a classic red lip and proper chandan. Both sides were happy."
"Three events, three completely different looks, all stunning. The gaye holud look actually survived the turmeric — I didn't believe it was possible."
