Bal Raksha, Bhavishya Raksha

At Bharat Bal Kalyan, nurturing children is nurturing the promise of India. Since 2006, we have made it our mission to transform childhood landscapes nationwide through compassion, care, and relentless effort. We are steadfast in our resolve to help the children of India build a Secure Childhood and thus a Secure Future.

Our approach is holistic — we address access to health and nutrition, quality education, protection from harm, psychosocial support, and well-rounded development. In 18 years, we have touched the lives of over 1 crore children through our outreach programmes.

In 2023-24, our education programmes assisted over 3.8 lakh children. Healthcare support reached 4.1 lakh children. Our humanitarian drives provided urgent aid to 6.5 lakh children in disaster-hit zones. Each milestone fuels our conviction that we can transform childhood with compassion, care, and unity.

Are donations tax-exempt?
Yes. All donations to Bharat Bal Kalyan are 50% tax-exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. You will receive an auto-generated 80G receipt via email immediately after donating.
How is my donation used?
82% of every rupee goes directly to programmes. 12% covers programme support and monitoring, and 6% covers administration. Our financials are audited annually by Deloitte and published on our website.
Can I donate monthly?
Yes. Monthly donations help us plan long-term programmes. You can set up auto-debit via UPI, credit card, or bank mandate. Cancel anytime — no lock-in.
Do you work with the government?
Extensively. We partner with the Ministry of Women & Child Development, NITI Aayog, state education departments, and district administrations. Our programmes complement government schemes like Poshan Abhiyan, Samagra Shiksha, and PM POSHAN.
Can I volunteer?
Absolutely. We have volunteer programmes in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Roles include teaching, content creation, event support, and field documentation. Minimum commitment: 4 hours/week for 3 months.
How do I get a donation receipt?
Receipts are auto-emailed within minutes of online donation. For offline donations, email donorsupport@bharatbalkalyan.org with your transaction details and PAN number.
