Since 2006, we have made it our mission to transform childhood landscapes nationwide through compassion, care, and relentless effort.
At Bharat Bal Kalyan, nurturing children is nurturing the promise of India. We are steadfast in our resolve to help the children of India build a Secure Childhood and thus a Secure Future.
Our approach is holistic — we address access to health and nutrition, quality education, protection from harm, psychosocial support, and well-rounded development. Protection from exploitation and access to equal opportunities help children thrive as architects of the nation's future.
We cannot walk alone, because shaping young lives cannot happen in isolation. It calls for unified effort from communities, government, and supporters. Collaborating with on-ground workers, policymakers, and donors, we build an ecosystem where children can flourish.
In 18 years, we have touched the lives of over 1 crore children through our outreach programmes. Between April 2023 and March 2024, we provided 14.2 lakh children across 15 states with resources, support, and opportunities to build a childhood they can cherish.
Our interventions are planned with the vision that their outcomes should lead to specific developments and change at the ground level.
Establish credibility through evidence-based, integrated, and sustainable programming to ensure positive and scalable impact on marginalised children.
Strategic alliances with children, communities, government, donors, and peers to expand and amplify our expertise on child welfare.
Being a convenor of voices of and for children through evidence-based advocacy and campaigns to inspire collective action that drives change.
Drive new ideas that deliver positive impact at scale for children, focused on the intersection of our ambitions for children and their most pressing problems.
