From Child Labour to Class Topper
Raju, 14
Raju worked 12-hour shifts at a bangle factory from age 9. Our field team identified him during a community survey, enrolled him in a bridge course, and within 18 months he was mainstreamed into Class 7. Last year, he topped his school in mathematics. Today he dreams of becoming an engineer.
"I never thought I would hold a pen again. Now I solve equations that even my teacher finds difficult."
